Social Programme

When you are depressed you can often feel like detaching yourself off from the world and become pretty isolated. In fact, going out and doing things with other people can really help lift your mood. If your self-confidence is very low, it can also help to go out with other people who understand how you feel and will support you.
Members of the group often organise social activities and anyone who is registered with Next Steps is welcome to attend. What we do depends on the interests of members but recent social events have included Sunday afternoon walks, ten pin bowling, pub quizzes and a trip to the pantomime.
Sign up to our mailing list and you will receive an email containing the latest group news regularly.

Walking for Health
Next Steps help organise Sunday walks in the countryside, often with a visit to a Pub along the way!
Next Steps also host a weekly Walk for Health in Woking. These walks last for about an hour, are on fairly flat ground, always finish back at the starting point, and take place every Wednesday (10.45 for a 11.00AM Start), meeting by The Lightbox reception in Woking.
For more information on these walks visit the Walk Woking website
